We are currently recruiting for an experienced Toolmaker to join our expanding team.

COMPANY: Pre-Met Limited

CONTRACT TYPE: Full Time

LOCATION: Redditch

SALARY: £30,000 to £35,000

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Are you an experienced Press Toolmaker? This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Tool maker to join a growing team of one of the UK's leading precision engineering companies based in Redditch. Previous experience of progression tool making preferred.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Servicing press tools and fault finding

Tool commissioning problem solving

New tool builds

Tool repairs and servicing

Modifying of tools

Using tool room machines and equipment

General duties commensurate with skills and abilities

CONSIDERATIONS:

Previous experience of press toolmaking is preferable

Able to utilise conventional tool room machinery including milling, turning and grinding

High attention to detail

Bench hand experience (Minimum 10 years)

Experienced in setting multiple press types preferably Bruderer

Be reliable,confident & self-motivated

Possess an engineering qualification

Confidence of using toolroom machinery

Able to work shifts
