We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Administrator to join our expanding team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Are you an experienced Commercial Administrator?  This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team of one of the UK's leading precision engineering companies based in Redditch. 

This role will entail dealing with our client's issues, loading schedules, shipping and exporting products.

Previous experience of working within a commercial environment is preferred. 


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Play a key role in the smooth and efficient running of the commercial office, on a day to day basis.
  • Develop trust and a sense of goodwill with all customers and suppliers.
  • Deal with customer queries, schedules orders etc
  • Administrate and regularly monitor the RFQ (Request for a Quote) System on a weekly basis.
  • Administer export paperwork within the rules and regulations of Customs and Excise.
  • Administer customer schedules (customers to be added/deleted from time to time), customer orders and all associated paperwork.
  • Arrange and administer export transport as required.
  • Take progress calls from customers, liaise with other departments within Pre-met and feedback information in a timely manner. 
  • Liaise with manufacturing departments to ensure that accurate information is available at all times, to enable effective production planning. 
  • Ensure, by liaising with all Pre-met functions, that correct products and materials are being made available to optimise and minimise stocks.
  • Keep up to date with exporting, importing and shipping practices.
  • Provide Sales & Marketing project support.
  • Being Mindful of Health and Safety Regulations at all times within the working environment.
  • Do everything in your power to ensure the ongoing success and growth of Pre-Met Ltd.

CONSIDERATIONS:
  • Previous experience of working within a commercial function
  • PC literate (Excel and Word)
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Experience working with an ERP system (Enterprise Resource Planning)
  • Be reliable,confident & self-motivated
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and to achieve deadlines and provide direct support to the Commercial management function
